My favourite plum pie

Ingredients for a big baker sheet

For dough:

  • 20 g yeast
  • 75 g powdered sugar
  • 2 dl of lukewarm milk
  • 400g flour
  • a pinch of salt
  • 1 egg

For top:

  • appr. 1.5-2 kg of plum (depending on how much fruit you like)
  • 75 g melted butter
  • 30-50 g sugar
  • Half teaspoon ground cinnamon

Mix the yeast with a little sugar in the milk and leave to stand for 15 minutes, then combine it with the flour, salt, eggs, sugar and melted butter in a bowl. Sprinkle the pastry with some flour and set aside for 30 minutes.
Meanwhile, wash the plums, then dry, core and cut them into quarters. After 30 mins knead the dough thoroughly. Take a baking paper into the baker sheet and rolling the pastry on it, so that it has a small rim. Place the plums in concentric layers on the pastry (starting at the outer edge and working your way towards the centre). Mix the sugar with the cinnamon and sprinkle it to the plum. Heat the oven to 200 ° C and bake the pie in the middle part for about 30 minutes. Allow to cool.
