A typical visit lasts for two hours, the start and end are both indicated beside the period of the programme's date.

The locations of these visits are most often private gardens or open gardens that can rarely be visited. During the visit, you can know the owner, what are their favourite plants, their successes and endeavours. There will be opportunities for conversation, photography, and elaboration, too.

During the event you will have the opportunity to view the garden, but the most of the time you will be taking part in the event held in the garden. The event date can be viewed in the block on the right.

The theme of the event can be related to plant knowledge, garden planning, workshop, music, literature or even a gastronomic programme using the ingredients found in the garden. The events are usually several hours long. Both the starting and ending hours are indicated beside the period of the programme's date.

Our green tours take you to hidden urban gardens, inspirational parks or even gardens of abandoned mansions and homesteads where the tour guide provides interesting back stories to the locations.
A green tour usually takes several hours or even the whole day. Both the starting and ending hours are indicated beside the period of the programme's date.
Our hosts are enthusiastic garden fans who are proud of their gardens and knowledge. Many of them are gardeners, plant cultivators and garden planners by profession, however, this is not a requirement. Information on the hosts of each programme is available on the programme's page or by reading reviews made by previous guests.
The first step is to submit your application under the Becoming a host menu. Entry into the program is not automatic. We require detailed information on the program, location and you through a multi-staged process. We will evaluate your résumé and if we believe your program could attract enough participants then we will contact and discuss further details.
By clicking the garden events or green tours menus all available events in your country will be shown arranged chronologically. Programs can be viewed three different way:
• on the map by clicking on map view
• by themes by clicking on list view or
• chronologically, based on months by clicking on calendar view

You can choose from the programmes in three different ways:
• by clicking on the garden types, you can narrow the list down to gardens you are interested in
• by clicking on garden locations, you can choose the country, county, and regions.
• by clicking on visiting dates, you can view the events of each month, even those that have already happened
Edenpont offers programmes from multiple countries. The list of countries is constantly changing during the season. Click on a program type (Garden visit, Garden event, Green tour) then click on the location menu. The list that appears will contain all the countries that currently have available programs.
Previous programmes aren't deleted from the site, therefore, they can be searched for. If you know the name or location of the programme then type it into the search box located at the top of the page. If you remember the date then select the program type and click on the month when the event took place.
The programmes of the upcoming season are posted well before the visiting dates. In this case, it can happen that the date and time have not been finalized meaning that even though the event is available you cannot register for it. Dates for the first half of the season are published by the middle of February, while the autumn season dates are published by the middle of June at the latest.
It's easier to apply for our events through a personal profile. With a personal profile you can manage your events, enjoy the advantage of membership and leave reviews about your visits.
The first step is to register by clicking on the Sign Up button and following the instructions provided there. Here you have to provide your e-mail and a password that consists of at least 6 characters. We will send a confirmation e-mail to your e-mail address where you have to verify your subscription. After this your account is complete. You can enter your account by clicking on the Log in button. By providing some personal information applications for events will be even easier and you will also aid us in optimizing our services and programs.
We need your phone number as in urgent cases this is the fastest way to contact you. We treat your data according to the relevant data protection laws.

It can happen that you typed a wrong e-mail address or password. If you forgot your password then click on the “I've forgotten my password” option under Registration/Sign in, and you will receive a link in an automatic email. Clicking on that you can create a new password.

In the case of a bank transfer, your application will be finalized after the money has arrived. Until then it is pending. Unfortunately, it is possible that by the time payment arrives another applicant who chose a faster payment method (Edenpont Club credit or credit card) has already taken the place available. If this happens then we will add the transferred money to your Edenpont Club credit which you can use for purchases at any time. If you want to be sure that you get a place for a given visit then we recommend paying with Edenpont Club credit or credit card.
In your account click on My History to view previous visits you have attended.

Under the “My favourites” menu you can find your previously saved favourites.
Edenpont Club is a loyalty programme. You can visit our programmes for a discounted price using your Edenpont credit. You can choose from different packages depending on how many programmes you wish to attend with how many people. Whichever you choose, we'll add extra credit to your balance. The top-ups and extra credits have no expiry and can be used at any time for all of our events.
You can top up your credit at any time under the link in the Edenpont Club menu using credit card or bank transfer.
There are multiple credit charging methods available. You can find more information on these methods under the Edenpont Club menu.

You can use your credit for an unlimited period.
If no booking has been made on your account then you can withdraw your credit within 14 days from the payment. The money will be transferred back within 14 days after the transactional and handling fees have been subtracted.
If you chose a credit card payment, the top-up amount will appear immediately in your balance and you can use it for paying your bookings immediately. Choose the Edenpont Club As a payment method, and the participation fee will automatically be deducted from your balance.

If you had chosen bank transfer, you can only use your balance if the amount arrived in our bank account and we approved your payment on your Edenpont Club account. If the top-up can be seen in your Edenpont club account, you can initiate your bookings, choosing Edenpont club as a payment method.
You can apply for our programs on our website through the page of the program you have chosen. You must pay the participation fee before going on the visit. After clicking on Book now you must provide your details so that we may remain in contact with you after the purchase, then you may choose your preferred method of payment. Applications submitted via e-mail, telephone or letter is not compatible with our system. There is no option to pay at the visit location.

Six days after payment has been made the date and location of the programme will appear in your account under the Accepted bookings menu. If there are less than five days between the payment and programme date then after payment we will immediately send the exact location.
If the program is full then we cannot submit any more applications. It is possible that someone who has already paid for the event decides to cancel which means we will immediately inform those who are on the waiting list.
If the program is full then the system automatically presents the opportunity to join a waiting list.
If there is a place available then those who possess the Edenpont Eager package have precedence and will receive the opportunity to apply.
Most of our gardens are welcoming towards children, however, on rare occasion, the host may decide that the program is not suitable for children. This is stated at the program and the "Welcome children" icon will not appear.
Yes! If you can't come to the visit and you cannot cancel it then you may give it to any of your friends or family. In this case, please contacts and give us the receiver's e-mail, phone number so that we may send the information regarding the visit to them.

It contains every fee necessary for the visit, including taxes. Please keep in mind that you must plan your own transportation to the programme location, as this is not included.

No, you have the opportunity to choose your payment method every time. If you have a topped up account then it is recommended to use that since you receive a discount.

You can cancel your booking within five days of payment. The cancellation deadline does not apply to purchases made within five days prior to the event. You can cancel a programme in your account under My bookings, clicking the Cancel my booking at the programme. We are sorry, but cancellations made after 5 days of purchase do not qualify for a refund.
To change the date you must cancel your booking and book a new one. Please keep in mind that you can only do this five days after payment has been made. Cancellation deadline does not apply to purchases made 5 days prior to the event.
Under My bookings/Accepted bookings by clicking on the programme you can modify the number of people who wish to participate. Please keep in mind that you can only modify this within five days of payment. Cancellation deadline does not apply to purchases made 5 days prior to the event. You can increase the number of people at any time if there are enough free places. Increase in people counts as a booking, therefore, booking conditions apply.
Your money with the bank costs subtracted will be transferred back within 14 days to your account from where it was sent.
If a program is cancelled by Edenpont then the entire amount will be refunded. If you paid using a bank transfer or credit card then you can choose whether you want it refunded the same way or added to your Edenpont account. Any additional costs (e.g. booked hotel or transportation) will not be paid by Edenpont.
Our programs will be held even in bad weather excluding extreme weather. If it is cancelled due to extreme weather then the participants will be notified beforehand and the money will be refunded.
Yes, if there's a longer period between the purchase and the event we will send notices on two occasions containing detailed information on the event.
Different gift cards can be bought with varying top-ups. The recipient of the card may attend our programs without any payment until their credit allows them to.
